Current Fees and Billing Arrangements
The GPs providing services at MedPlaza charge a fee payable at the time of the consultation.
Bulk-billing is available for consultations for children up to age 15 with a valid Medicare card, and DVA card holders.
Each doctor determines their own fees, including charging of 'discounted fees' or bulk-billing of other patients such as Commonwealth Concession cardholders (pensioner, disability) or Commonwealth Seniors Health Care Card holders. If your GP bulk-bills your consultations please note that this arrangement may not apply if you are seeing another GP at the practice.
The fees apply to all consultations including in-surgery, video and phone consultations.
- - In the case of a phone consultation the doctor will call you close to the designated appointment time. The doctor may decide that you need to come in for further assessment.
- - For video consultations please enter our virtual waiting room 5 minutes prior to the appointment time and you doctor will commence the consultation when ready.
Please book an appropriate appointment for your issues. Standard appointments are for 1 issue consultations. If you require more time or have multiple issues to discuss, please book a long appointment.
If you are booking an appointment for an over 75 driving medical please advise reception at time of booking.

Request a repeat prescription
You may request a prescription for a regular, previously prescribed medication. The cost is $22 (incl. GST) per request.
This prescription can be picked up at reception. In exceptional cases we can post or fax the prescription, eg. if travelling.
Your GP will review your request and either issue the prescription within 2 working days, or advise that it cannot be issued.
If your GP is unable to issue the prescription a fee will not be charged.
As there is no consultation a Medicare rebate is not payable and the cost of the request is a private fee.
